What sport do you compete in, and which university are you attending in the United States?

I play soccer, and I have earned admission to Eastern Arizona College, where I am studying Business.

When and how did the idea of studying in the United States first come to you?

I first heard about the opportunity to earn an athletic scholarship in the United States from my father. One of his colleagues told him that his son had been accepted to an American university, where he could not only continue his education but also compete in his favorite sport at a high level. He was also a soccer player, and that’s when I thought, “Why couldn’t I do the same?” I’ve always loved soccer, and education has always been important to me as well.

How did you feel when you found out that you had been accepted?

It was an amazing feeling. After many interviews and a lot of uncertainty, finding out that I had been accepted was incredibly rewarding. As my departure date got closer, I became more and more excited and eager to begin this new chapter. Even now, I feel that this opportunity has given me new motivation and new goals to strive for.

What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?

As an athlete, I want to improve as much as possible individually, and I truly believe I’m in the perfect place to do that. Since soccer is a team sport, one of my goals is also to win a championship with my team while gaining as much experience as possible.

What makes this journey even more exciting is that I get to meet people from all over the world. That’s not an exaggeration—I have teammates and classmates from so many different countries, from Japan and South America to all across Europe, that I’ve honestly lost count.

What advice would you give to athletes who are thinking about pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?

I would absolutely encourage anyone to go for it. Of course, you can’t plan everything in advance, but in my experience, things often turn out even better than you imagined. It’s an opportunity that can give you so much—not only in sports and academics, but also through the unforgettable experiences you’ll gain.

Who has played the biggest role in your success?

I owe the most to my family, especially my parents, for making it possible for me to be here in the United States. From the very first step of the application process, they supported me through every decision I made. I’m incredibly grateful for everything they have done for me.

Why would you recommend Study N Sport to other young athletes?

I would recommend Study N Sport because I had the chance to work with so many wonderful people throughout the process. Every single person was kind, patient, and always willing to help, which made me feel supported and confident every step of the way.

What are you looking forward to the most in the United States, outside of sports?

Almost every day in the United States brings something new. I constantly have the opportunity to meet new people—whether they’re professors, classmates, or teammates. We spend a lot of time together as a team, travel frequently, and I’m enjoying every moment of this experience.

I’m especially looking forward to campus events, traveling with my teammates, and, of course, the matches. I’m confident that this chapter of my life will help me grow tremendously, both as an athlete and as a person, and it’s something I’ll always look back on with great memories.
