What sport do you compete in, and which university are you attending in the United States?

I’ve been playing water polo for the past ten years, and it has become a huge part of my life. I’m incredibly excited to have earned admission to La Salle University, where I’ll be able to continue both my education and my athletic career.

When and how did the idea of studying in the United States first come to you?

The idea first came to me when I was in the 10th grade. I had always wanted to study abroad because I was eager to experience a new culture, and my passion for languages made that dream even stronger. I felt that the United States would allow me to combine my education, my sport, and my sense of adventure.

How did you feel when you found out that you had been accepted?

I received the news around Christmas, and it truly felt like the best gift I could have received. It’s hard to put into words—I felt incredibly happy, proud, and excited to begin a brand-new chapter of my life.

What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?

As an athlete, I want to improve as much as possible and prove myself in a completely new environment. I know it will be challenging, but I truly believe every challenge will be worth it.

As a person, I want to experience new situations, become more independent, and build meaningful relationships along the way.

What advice would you give to athletes who are thinking about pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?

Don’t hesitate! There will definitely be difficult moments, but the opportunity is incredible, and every bit of hard work will pay off. If you truly believe in yourself, you have everything to gain.

Who has played the biggest role in your success?

First and foremost, my family—my parents, who have always supported me, my siblings, my grandparents, and of course my friends, who have believed in me every step of the way.

I’m also incredibly grateful to Study N Sport for helping me throughout the entire process. I wouldn’t have made it this far without them.

What are you looking forward to the most in the United States, outside of sports?

I’m really looking forward to traveling around the United States. Thanks to sports, I’ll have plenty of opportunities to do so, and I’d love to visit some of the country’s most famous landmarks. I believe every trip will bring new experiences and unforgettable memories.
