What sport do you compete in, which university have you been accepted to, and what inspired you to study in the United States?

I’m a swimmer, and I have earned admission to Queens University of Charlotte. Studying in the United States has been a dream of mine for a very long time. Back in seventh grade, when we were asked to write about where we imagined ourselves after graduating from high school, I already wrote that I wanted to study in America and continue swimming. My coach also studied in the United States, and after hearing all of his stories and experiences, I knew that I wanted to follow the same path.

How did you feel when you found out that you had been accepted?

It was an incredible feeling—almost like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I felt that all the hard work I had put in had finally paid off.

What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?

As an athlete, my first goal is to build a strong relationship with my coaches and my new teammates. Once that foundation is there, I just want to enjoy the opportunity and make the most of everything it has to offer.

As a person, I want to make new friends, continue growing, and experience different cultures. Since this will be my first time living away from home, becoming more independent will also be an important part of this new chapter.

What advice would you give to athletes who are thinking about pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?

I honestly don’t think it’s something you should overthink. If the idea has crossed your mind, go for it!

One of the biggest advantages is that American universities truly support their student-athletes, making it much easier to balance academics and training than it is as a student-athlete at most Hungarian universities.

Who has played the biggest role in your success?

First and foremost, my family, who have always stood by me and supported me in everything I do. I’m also incredibly grateful to my coach. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I am today—he’s the one who helped shape me into the swimmer I’ve become.

Why would you recommend Study N Sport to other young athletes?

Because they are true professionals. They know exactly what needs to be done and when, and they guide you through every step of the process. On top of that, they have an extensive network of connections with American universities, which can make a huge difference in helping athletes achieve their goals.
