What sport do you compete in, and which university did you commit to in the United States?

I compete in water polo, and I’m a student-athlete at the University of the Pacific.

When and how did you decide that you wanted to study in the United States?

The idea first came to me about two years before I moved to the United States. Alongside my athletic career, I always considered my education to be a priority, and the American college system offers the perfect combination of high-level academics and competitive sports.

How did you feel when you found out you had been accepted?

I was incredibly happy. It felt like all the hard work I had put in over the years had finally paid off.

What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?

As an athlete, my goal is to reach the NCAA Championship Final and ultimately win it.

On a personal level, I’m motivated by building meaningful relationships, growing as an individual, and continuously improving every day.

What advice would you give to athletes who are thinking about pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?

Be brave and go for it. Looking back, I truly believe it was one of the best decisions of my life.

Who do you credit the most for your success?

First and foremost, my parents, who have always supported me and stood by my side.

I’d also like to thank Kaposvári Vízilabda Klub, where I grew up as a player and where I received the coaching and foundation that made everything possible.

Why would you recommend Study N Sport to other young athletes?

I would recommend Study N Sport because of the experience and professionalism of the entire team. Their knowledge, guidance, and support throughout the process made a huge difference.

What are you looking forward to the most in the United States, outside of sports?

I’d like to travel as much as possible and experience everything the United States has to offer.

Now that you’ve completed your first season, how do you look back on it?

I have mixed feelings about my first season because it was challenging in the beginning. Water polo is played differently here, and it took me some time to adjust to the style of play and the overall environment.

By the end of the season, however, everything started to come together. As a team, we found our rhythm and went on to win our conference’s regular season title, which was an incredible achievement and a fantastic way to finish my first year.
