What sport do you compete in, and which university did you commit to in the United States?
I received a soccer scholarship to Gannon University, where I’ll be continuing both my academic and athletic career.
When and how did you decide to study in the United States?
I made the decision fairly late. It wasn’t until January of this year that I decided I wanted to begin my studies in the United States before the end of the year.
I wanted to continue both my education and my soccer career at the same time, and I felt that the American college system was the best long-term opportunity for me.
How did you feel when you found out you had been accepted?
I was incredibly happy that everything came together in such a short period of time. Since I started the process later than most, every single day mattered, so it was a huge relief and an exciting moment when I found out I had been accepted.
What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?
My goal is to become the best version of myself in every aspect of life. I want to continue improving both on and off the field while experiencing a new culture and challenging myself in a completely different environment.
What advice would you give to athletes who are considering pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?
My advice is simple: don’t be afraid to take the leap. All the hard work and dedication will eventually pay off, and the opportunities you’ll gain are well worth the effort.
Who do you credit the most for your success?
First and foremost, my family, who have always supported me in everything I do.
I’d also like to thank my girlfriend, who has been studying in the United States for the past two years. She helped me tremendously throughout the entire process and made the transition much easier.
Why would you recommend Study N Sport to other young athletes?
I would recommend Study N Sport because they truly understand the American college system, which can seem very complicated at first.
They guided me through every step of the process, were always available whenever I needed help, and I think the best proof of their professionalism is that we managed to achieve my goal in such a short amount of time.
What are you looking forward to the most in the United States, outside of sports?
Beyond soccer, I’m most excited about experiencing American culture, learning about different traditions, and meeting people from all over the world. I’m looking forward to building friendships with international students and making the most of this unique opportunity.
We want to get to know you better
