What sport do you compete in, and which university are you attending in the United States?

I’ve been playing soccer for the past 12 years, and I have earned admission to Miami Dade College.

When and how did the idea of studying in the United States first come to you?

I had heard from many people about athletes moving to the United States, and everyone spoke very highly of the experience. After graduating from high school, I had to decide where I wanted to continue my education, and I also wanted to take the next step in my soccer career. Looking back, I truly believe it was the best decision for me.

How did you feel when you found out that you had been accepted?

I felt an incredible sense of relief. I knew I would have the opportunity to study and work alongside amazing people. I was extremely excited and couldn’t wait to see what the next chapter would bring.

What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?

As an athlete, my goal is for our team to win every match and build a strong team spirit. Personally, I want to contribute as much as I can to our success while continuing to improve every day.

As a person, I know I’m going to learn so much. A completely new country, new people, and a new environment are waiting for me, and my goal is to become the best version of myself through this experience.

What advice would you give to athletes who are thinking about pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?

I would encourage them to go for it without hesitation. It’s an incredibly exciting journey, and I’ve already met so many kind and supportive people along the way. In my opinion, it’s a life-changing adventure—one you’ll never regret.

Who has played the biggest role in your success?

My biggest thanks go to my mom, who gives 110% for me every single day. I owe her my deepest gratitude.

I’m especially excited about the environment. Miami looks incredible even in movies, so I can only imagine what it will be like to actually live there. I’m also looking forward to meeting lots of new people.

But what I’m most excited about is starting this new chapter of my life in Miami together with my boyfriend.
