What sport do you compete in, and which university did you commit to in the United States?

I compete in foil fencing, and I’ll be attending The Ohio State University.

When and how did you decide to study in the United States?

Although the idea had been in the back of my mind since I was a child, it really became a serious goal last summer after winning the USA Fencing Summer Nationals. That was the moment I felt it was the right time to pursue this opportunity.

How did you feel when you found out you had been accepted?

The admission process involved many discussions and preparations, so the final decision didn’t come as a complete surprise. Even so, I was incredibly excited when everything became official.

What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?

As an athlete, my goal is to improve as much as possible and reach my full potential.

As a person, I simply want to continue becoming the best version of myself every day.

What advice would you give to athletes who are considering pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?

My advice is to be patient and stay persistent throughout the process. It takes time, dedication, and hard work, but in the end, every bit of effort is worth it.

Who do you credit the most for your success?

I owe my success to the incredible team of people who have supported me throughout my journey: my family, my coaches Zoltán Kessler and Lorenzo Mazza, the specialists I’ve worked with, and, of course, the hard work and commitment I’ve put into achieving my goals.

Why would you recommend Study N Sport to other young athletes?

The Study N Sport team is incredibly supportive and has an excellent understanding of the American college system, which can seem quite complicated at first. Their guidance makes the entire process much easier to navigate.

What are you looking forward to the most in the United States, outside of sports?

More than anything, I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead and the opportunity to work hard, grow, and continue developing both on and off the fencing strip.
