How did you get into soccer, and when did you first realize that you wanted to take the sport more seriously?

When I was little, I used to go to my older brother’s soccer practices with him, and that’s where I first started playing. I quickly fell in love with the sport. Later, I joined my first team, where I began training regularly and playing competitive matches. That was the moment when I realized I wanted to pursue soccer more seriously.

When did you decide that you wanted to study and play soccer in the United States, and why did you choose this path? Which university will you attend, and what will you study?

I decided last summer that I wanted to continue both my studies and my soccer career in the United States. I had always been interested in America, and I wanted to take on a new challenge while experiencing a completely new environment.

I will be attending Lee University, where I will major in Marketing.

Who has played the biggest role in helping you get to where you are today?

I owe the most to my parents and grandparents, who have always been by my side. They have supported and encouraged me throughout my journey, even during the most challenging times.

How did Study N Sport help you throughout the process?

Study N Sport helped me with every step of the process. From the initial application all the way to preparing for my move to the United States, they supported and guided me throughout the entire journey.

What has been the biggest challenge on your journey toward studying in the U.S., and what are you most looking forward to about life and soccer there?

The biggest challenge was the uncertainty at the beginning of the process. I didn’t know for sure whether I would have the opportunity to go to the United States or which university I would end up attending, and that brought a lot of uncertainty.

What I’m looking forward to the most is meeting my new teammates, getting to know my new environment, and finally starting the season.

What are your biggest goals as both a soccer player and a student in the United States?

As a student, my goal is to successfully complete my degree and graduate from university. As a soccer player, my goal is to win as many matches as possible and contribute to the team’s success in every way I can.

What message would you like to share with young soccer players who are considering studying and competing in the United States?

I would encourage them to be brave and go for it. There will be difficult moments along the way, but it is absolutely worth it in the end.
