What sport do you compete in, and which university are you attending in the United States?
I compete in sport shooting, specializing in rifle events at both 10 and 50 meters. I earned admission to Jacksonville State University along with an athletic scholarship.
When and how did the idea of studying in the United States first come to you?
I first started thinking about it about two years ago, when I was in the 10th grade. I considered several different countries, but in the end I chose the United States because I wanted to study in English.
How did you feel when you found out that you had been accepted?
I was incredibly happy because a dream that had once seemed out of reach had finally come true.
What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?
As an athlete, I want to keep improving and perform at my very best. As a person, my goal is to enjoy the experience, create unforgettable memories, and stay open to every opportunity that comes my way.
What advice would you give to athletes who are thinking about pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?
I would encourage them to go for it with confidence. Every bit of hard work and every risk is worth it in the end—it’s a decision you won’t regret.
Who has played the biggest role in your success?
I owe my achievements in sport primarily to my rifle coach, Kornél Simó. When it came to pursuing my dream of studying in the United States, my parents supported me every step of the way and were always there for me.
Why would you recommend Study N Sport to other young athletes?
They are incredibly easy to work with, highly reliable, and always ready to help whenever you have a question or run into a problem.
What are you looking forward to the most in the United States, outside of sports?
I’m looking forward to meeting new people and taking part in the many campus events and community activities, which I believe will help me settle in and create lifelong memories.
