What sport do you compete in, and which university are you attending in the United States?

I play volleyball, and I have earned admission to the University of Idaho, where I will study and compete on an athletic scholarship.

When and how did the idea of studying in the United States first come to you?

I had been thinking about studying abroad for quite some time, but I only started seriously considering it toward the end of high school, when I was deciding what I wanted to do next. I had always been interested in the United States, and it had been a dream of mine to live there one day. I was fascinated by how closely academics and athletics are connected, allowing me to pursue my education while continuing to do what I love most.

How did you feel when you found out that you had been accepted?

It’s hard to put into words. I felt excited, happy, and incredibly proud all at the same time. It was a huge validation of all the hard work I had put in and reassured me that I was on the right path. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I was truly grateful for such an amazing opportunity.

What is your biggest goal in the United States, both as an athlete and as a person?

As an athlete, I want to improve as much as possible and reach my full potential—hopefully even at the professional level. As a person, my goal is to become more open-minded, gain new experiences, and successfully adapt to a completely new environment.

What advice would you give to athletes who are thinking about pursuing a sports scholarship in the United States?

Don’t be afraid to take the leap. Dream big, but also stay dedicated and consistent. An opportunity like this is not only valuable for your athletic career, but also an incredible experience for your personal growth.

Who has played the biggest role in your success?

First and foremost, my family, who have always supported me, and of course my coaches, who have helped me improve and achieve my goals.

Why would you recommend Study N Sport to other young athletes?

Because they support you throughout the entire process and take care of everything from start to finish. They were an incredible help to me at every stage, and I never felt alone while making such an important decision. Whenever I had a question, I knew I could count on them.

What are you looking forward to the most in the United States, outside of sports?

I’m really looking forward to meeting new people, traveling around the United States, and experiencing the atmosphere of American college life. I’m also excited about the new challenges ahead, because I know they will help me grow both as an athlete and as a person.
