Elite U17 American Football Talent Camp Held Again in Tatabánya

On August 9, 2025, the Hungarian American Football Federation once again hosted its Elite U17 Talent Camp at the Olimpikon Street artificial turf field in Tatabánya.

The day was all about American football—developing young talent, helping athletes grow, and investing in the future of the sport.

The camp was designed for players born between 2008 and 2011 (with an additional one-year age allowance for younger athletes), giving them the opportunity to train alongside the country’s top young prospects, showcase their abilities to the national team coaching staff, and take another important step in their athletic development.

A Day Focused on the Future

Throughout the camp, athletes trained under the guidance of experienced coaches, learned new techniques, and took part in high-intensity practice sessions designed to improve their skills.

The inspiration didn’t stop on the field.

One of the highlights of the day was a presentation on American high school and college scholarship opportunities, delivered by Zoltán Tamási and Kinga Kovács on behalf of Study N Sport.

Working Together for the Future of the Sport

Study N Sport and the Hungarian American Football Federation share a common vision of building a stronger partnership in the future.

The goal is to provide talented Hungarian athletes not only with opportunities to develop at home but also to open the door to international—especially American—academic and athletic opportunities.

For years, Study N Sport has helped athletes from a wide range of sports earn scholarships abroad. Now, American football has officially become one of our featured sports.

This camp was much more than just a day of training—it was an opportunity for young Hungarian football players to discover new possibilities and perhaps take the first step toward earning an athletic scholarship in the United States.
